NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 18 Merrimack College women's lacrosse team hosts Stonehill College in a key Northeast-10 Conference clash on Saturday at Duane Stadium. Game time is 12 p.m.

Five Things To Know:
  • Merrimack bounced back with a 16-6 victory over Saint Michael's on Wednesday afternoon at home. The Warriors have registered 15 or more goals for the fourth time in the last five games after scoring 20 goals combined in their first three games of the season (6.67).
  • Merrimack is now averaging 12.38 goals per game while yielding 10.00 per game on the other end. They've scored 10-plus goals in six out of their eight games thus far while limiting opponents to single digits in five games, as well.
  • Sophomore Haley Bartlett, the 2018 NE10 Rookie of the Year, has moved into the team lead in scoring after a nine-point week (all goals) followed by a season-high seven points on Wednesday. She is up to 31 points on the season (23g, 8a), two points ahead of senior captain Amber Feminella, a 2018 IWLCA all-region honoree, who has 29 points (21g, 8a). Feminella also leads the team with 24 draw controls, while sophomore Kelsey Daly – a 2018 NE10 All-Conference Third Team selection – has caused nine turnovers, the most by any Warrior
  • Senior Lauren Trepaney has been strong in eight starts in net thus far; she ranks in the top-half in both goaltending categories in the NE10 – including fourth in save percentage (.480) – while her 9.00 saves per game are good for fourth in the conference and 37th in the country.
  • It took 29 games, but Merrimack finally got in the win column against Stonehill last season after an 18-10 win on the road early last March. This year, the Skyhawks enter Saturday at 5-3 (2-2 NE10) and are led offensively by junior Jennifer Wheaton's 33 points (17g, 16a). Kaity Healey has 31 draw controls, while netminder Bailey Grant leads the Skyhawks in minutes played and owns a 12.40 goals against with a .426 save percentage.
