HAVERHILL, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's tennis program swept the doubles portion of Wednesday's match before winning four of six singles contest to top Colby-Sawyer College, 5-2, in an indoor non-conference match played at Cedardale Health & Fitness in Haverhill, Mass.

- Head coach Dena Madden adjusted her doubles pairings, trotting the freshmen combination of Rosemary Campanella and Kristina Calistro out at No. 1 while senior Mana Seifaei and sophomore Cassie Restrepo paired together at No. 2. For both duos, it marked their first matches playing together this season
- Third doubles finished first as junior Mia Briggs and freshman Hope Salts dominated the flight, 6-1. First doubles went to a tiebreaker after the Warriors and Chargers split the first 12 games. Calistro and Campanella dominated the breaker, 7-1, to claim the flight. Seifaei and Restrepo outlasted their opposition at second doubles, 7-5, to guarantee Merrimack the doubles point
- Merrimack controlled No. 3-6 singles to win the match, sweeping all four matchups. Calistro shutout her opponent in the first set (6-0) before winning the second, 6-2, to claim the third flight. Salts (6-1, 6-0) and Briggs (6-1, 6-2) won at fifth and sixth singles, respectively, without facing adversity. Restrepo also swept her match at No. 4, 6-2 and 6-4
- Campanella played at first singles for just the second times this season, taking her match the distance against the Chargers' top option (6-2, 3-6, 9-11)
