WORCESTER, Mass. – Behind earning the overall doubles point and besting the Crusaders at the top five singles flights, the Merrimack College women's tennis program picked up its second win in as many seasons against Division I Holy Cross, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Sinnott Family Tennis Center on Holy Cross' campus.

- Merrimack took the doubles points by winning at the top-two flights. Senior Mana Seifaei and sophomore Cassie Restrepo played together for the second straight match, winning at No. 2 (6-4). The freshmen duo of Kristina Calistro and Rosemary Campanella returned to the top spot and claimed a 6-3 win over the Crusaders
- In singles, Merrimack claimed two three-set matches in addition to winning three in sweeping fashion. Campanella won just her second career match at first singles, 6-2 and 6-3, over the top option from the Crusaders. Freshman Hope Salts outlasted her foe at fifth singles, 6-4, in the opener at No. 5 before winning in shutout fashion in the second frame, 6-0. Restrepo claimed two narrow sets at No. 4, 7-5 and 7-6 (2), to also win in straight sets
- Both Calistro and Seifaei won their singles matches in three sets and overcame a first-set defeat. Calistro moved up a flight to No. 2, and picked up her second career win at that spot by claiming the 10-point breaker, 10-6. Seifaei notched her first singles win this spring by bouncing back from a 6-4 loss in her first set. The team captain won the second two frames easily, 6-1 and 6-1, to register the victory
