CHERRY HILL, N.J. – After besting multiple Division I crews on Saturday to impressively reach the Grand Final of the Women's Club Four event at the 2019 Knecht Cup, the Merrimack College women's rowing program raced admirably as one of the six best crews in the event, which featured 15 boats during Saturday's heats. The Warriors finished in sixth on Sunday, racing against a field entirely comprised of DI competition.

- The Warriors' top fours crew posted a time of 8:27.95 on Sunday after finishing in second place in their heat on Saturday, only trailing a Lafayette boat that ranked second in the Grand Final
- Merrimack was pitted against New Hampshire's "A" and "B" crews as well as Pittsburgh's and Rhode Island's "A" boats in addition to Lafayette. The Warriors were the only Division II crew to reach the Grand Final
- Yesterday, Merrimack finished in a time of 8:15.15, besting New Hampshire's "C" crew by a shade over three seconds to reach Sunday's Grand Final. The top two-finishers over three heats reached the Grand Final while the third- and fourth-place finishers moved to the Petite Final
