NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 18 Merrimack College women's lacrosse team will look to match its longest win streak of the season when it hosts American International College on Tuesday night. Game time from Duane Stadium is set for 7 p.m.

Five Things To Know:
  • Merrimack secured its second straight 10-goal victory on Saturday against a Stonehill squad that had some impressive wins on its resume. The Warriors dispatched the Skyhawks with relative ease, building a six-goal lead at the half before pulling away in the final 30 minutes. The Warriors have registered 15 or more goals five times in the last six games after scoring 20 goals combined in their first three games of the season (6.67).
  • Merrimack is now averaging 12.67 goals per game while yielding 9.44 per game on the other end. Ranking seventh and fourth, respectively, in the NE10. They've scored 10-plus goals in seven out of their eight games thus far while limiting opponents to single digits in six games, as well.
  • A 12-point week helped senior Amber Feminella take over the team lead in scoring with 35 points on the season (26g, 9a). Sophomore Haley Bartlett, the 2018 NE10 Rookie of the Year, is right behind her with 34 (25g, 9a), while junior Ally DaCosta is the team's top playmaker with 10 assists and has 22 points overall. Feminella also leads the team with 32 draw controls, while sophomore Kelsey Daly – a 2018 NE10 All-Conference Third Team selection – has caused 11 turnovers, the most by any Warrior
  • Senior Lauren Trepaney earned NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors after a 20-save week in two games last week, featuring a 13-of-18 performance in the Warriors' win over Stonehill on Saturday. She has started in every game and ranks in the top-five in both goaltending categories in the NE10 – including fourth in save percentage (.506) – while her 9.44 saves per game are good for third in the conference and 32nd in the country.
  • Merrimack has won 17-of-20 games against AIC all-time; the only blip on the radar was a three-year run by the Yellow Jackets from 2014-2016, but the Warriors have bounced back with back-to-back wins, including a 17-7 decision last year in Springfield. AIC enters Tuesday night 3-7 overall; they do boast two 30-point scorers and are led defensively by Brianna O'Brien, who has an impressive 39 draw controls, 26 caused turnovers and 32 ground balls.
