WORCESTER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's rowing program saw its top varsity fours crew take home a first-place finish while its second varsity fours boat recorded a runner-up rank as the Warriors enjoyed a successful morning on Saturday at the NE10 Challenge on Lake Quinsigamond.

- The Warriors top boat posted their best finish of the spring, besting crews from Connecticut College, Trinity and Assumption to finish in first place. The race began at 7:50 a.m., and saw Merrimack surge ahead to cross the finish line over 13 seconds quicker than the next closest boat
- The program claimed a victory at the NE10 Challenge for the sixth time in the last seven seasons, and jumped four spots after finishing in fourth place in 2018
- Racing for the second time this spring and first time in three weeks, Merrimack's second fours boat improved on both its time and rank from when it raced against Bryant. The Warriors posted a time of 9:06.53, finishing within six seconds of Connecticut College's race-winning crew
- Merrimack improved its time by over three seconds from its race in Smithfield, R.I. on April 6
