Lowell, MA– The Merrimack Women's Rowing Team had a great day of racing at the Riverhawk Challenge this past weekend.
In the Women's First Varsity 4+ event, the team of Coxswain
Alexis Lescovitz, Meghan Jerozsko,
Rebecca Rau,
Jordyn Trowt, and
Skye Tucker finished first in their heat with a time of 7:39.2. In heat 2, the team of Coxswain
Ryan Scola,
Emily Riggs,
Lucy McAllister,
Dempsey Lajoie, and
Kaari Dexter finished second in their heat with a time of 8:36.9. Both boats secured a spot in the final.

Skye Tucker finished 2nd overall, falling short to UNH by just half of a second, finishing with a time of 7:33.0.
In the Freshman/Novice 4+ event, the team of Coxwain
Alexis Lescovitz, Emi Smith,
Tara Stoeffler,
Hailey Young, and
Abby Pernilla-Roche finished first in a straight final with a time of 7:24.3.
UP NEXT: The Warriors will be heading to Worcester to compete in the New England Regional Championship Regatta, Next Saturday, May 4th.
