NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – After an exciting comeback win against Assumption in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, the Merrimack College softball program will continue its final run for the conference crown Thursday, taking on New Haven in the quarterfinal round. The Warriors have picked up eight wins in its last nine contests, and will look to make it back to the semifinal round after falling in last year's quarterfinal.
The NE10 Softball Championship will be hosted by Saint Anselm, with the remaining games to be played at Marucci Field in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Five Things to Know:
- Merrimack is 6-14 all-time against the Chargers, with just one playoff meeting dating back to 2011; the Warriors were victorious, coming away with an 8-0 victory. Â
- Four players had multi-hit performances in Tuesday's opening round victory – senior Hannah Johnson, and sophomores Abigail Amato, Lucy Colarusso, and Kelly Dovi.
- The Warrios haven't given up more than three runs since April 18th; as a whole, the team ERA for the month of April is 2.54.
- New Haven owned the Warriors in its lone two matchups this season, winning 4-1 and 4-2.
- The Chargers finished the regular season with a pair of non-conference wins against Caldwell, finishing second in the southwest division.
