WORCESTER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's rowing program enjoyed a successful day at the 2019 New England Rowing Championships on Saturday on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The Warriors' top varsity fours crew emerged from its time trial in the morning to race in the afternoon's Grand Final while the program's second varsity fours boat raced in the W2V4 Petite Final.

- Merrimack's varsity fours crew reached their second grand final of the spring, accomplishing the same feat at the Knecht Cup. All six crews that reached the final all finished within 10 seconds of each other, and Merrimack's boat narrowly missed out on finishing as high as fourth. The Warriors, Bryant University and UMass Lowell all finished within three seconds of each other
- The Warriors' second fours crew placed in front of Franklin Pierce in their second race of the day. Merrimack joined another Rhode Island boat, Vermont and Simmons among the top-four of the Petite Final
