NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's tennis program started the fall portion of its 2019-20 schedule strongly on Tuesday afternoon, defeating Endicott College, 7-0, at North Andover High School in North Andover, Mass.

Rapid Recap
  • Merrimack took two of three doubles flights to claim the doubles point. The sophomore tandem of Kristina Calistro and Rosemary Campanella won at No. 1, 8-2, while senior Mia Briggs and freshman Allyson Nerf mirrored that score at No. 2
  • Outside of sixth singles, every singles flight finished in sweeps in favor of the Warriors. Nerf and classmate Kelly Klaren debuted with dominat wins at third and fifth singles, respectively. Calistro and Campanella won two-set matches at No. 1 and No. 2, while fellow sophomore Hope Salts notched a clean win at No. 4
  • Briggs won a three-set affair at the bottom flight; she bounced back from a 7-5 loss in the first set, winning the second, 6-3, before claiming a tiebreaker to complete the shutout
