NORTH ANDOVER, Mass— The Merrimack College women's soccer team dropped its first home conference game on Thursday afternoon, falling 2-1 to the Sacred Heart Pioneers at Martone-Mejail Field.

Bridget Austin's first tally of the season. Sacred Heart would respond to Merrimack's press late with the game-winning goal in the 87' minute. Merrimack continues its home stand on Sunday, as they take on an out-of-conference foe in Manhattan at noon, when the team will honor its five seniors at a pregame ceremony.
