Lewiston, Maine. – The Merrimack College Women's Tennis team traveled to Lewiston, Maine to compete in the Wallach Women's Doubles Invitational tournament on Saturday. Merrimack entered four pairings into the tournament to compete against five other schools in the tournament.

Rapid Recap:
- The pairing of freshman Allyson Nerf and sophomore Kristina Calistro notched the top performance of the day reaching the semifinals after receiving a bye in the first round and earning an 8-2 win against Colby in the quarterfinals.
- The pairing of sophomore Rosemary Campanella and freshman Kelly Klaren posted a first-round win with a comfortable score of 8-4 over Colby, before eventually dropping an exhilarating match in the second round in a close tiebreaker.
- Senior Mia Briggs and Sophomore Hope Salts had an exciting match in the first round, pushing it to a tiebreaker, but unfortunately falling short after a long battle against Bates.
- On top of notching a total of four wins in the tournament, the Warriors were also winners in two consolation matches.

The Warriors will host Connecticut College at home in North Andover on Friday. They will be playing at North Andover High School at 4 p.m.
