Set Breakdown:
Notes and Notables:
- First set was fairly low scoring for Merrimack's offense. Brooke Leestma, Avery Brown, and Kara Hasse had points for the Warriors. Brown led with two. SFU opposed with strong kills, but were aided by attack and service errors by Merrimack.
- Warriors scored first with a kill from Kara Hasse. Taylor Vartanian, Ashley Gajdzik, Quinn Kellogg, and Megan Larson also had points of their own, but the team gave nine points to the visiting team through errors. Warrior took timeout late in the set and came back with energy - taking five in a row.
- Merrimack went back and forth with SFU for much of the third set. Energy was high with a lot of excitement in these sequences. Warriors again made more errors than they would have liked to, but it was a very strong performance by the Warriors on both sides of the ball
