SMITHFIELD. R.I. – The Merrimack College women's tennis capped off a perfect fall season this past weekend against Bryant University. The Warriors were led by,
Dzastina Mikhnova and
Mikaela Johnson Campana, who captured all four combined points to give Merrimack a 4-3 win.

Rapid Recap
- The Warriors didn't start off the weekend too hot as in the first doubles contest Kristina Calistro and Allyson Nerf dropped the first point by a score of 5-7.
- That would be all that the Bulldogs would get in doubles play though as Rosemary Campanella and Mikhnova answered right back with a set victory 7-5.
- To complete doubles play, the Warriors' underclassmen duo of, Sophie Thoring and Johnson Campana, defeated Bryant's third doubles team by a convincing tally of 6-4.
- Flipping over to the singles courts, the Warriors fought tooth and nail against the Bulldogs. Calistro started things off battling throughout the match, but in the end lost the point by scores of 6-7 (7-5), 4-6.
- Next up, Merrimack took a step back as, Nerf lost the point by scores of 1-6, and 3-6.
- Bryant kept on coming in singles play, as Campanella had one of the harder fought contests of the fall season. The first two sets were back and forth as Bryant took the first 3-6 and the Campanella took the second 7-5. In devastating fashion though, the Bulldogs took the point in the tiebreaker 7-10.
- Inspired by Campanella's effort though, Merrimack didn't look back as Mikhnova and Campana won yet again to secure the overall win for the warriors. At 4, Mikhnova played steady and determined and left victoriously with a 6-4, 6-3 win. Shortly afterward, Campana battled her way from behind and won two solid sets 6-4, 6-4.
