NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Propelled by a four-goal effort, the Merrimack men's soccer team turned their third straight win as the Warriors took their final road contest of the year by a 4-1 margin at Sacred Heart on Sunday.

The Summary
- Captain Stefano Pesenti got the Warriors rolling off the bat in the match, as Merrimack managed the ball at the top of the 18-yard box, pulling away from the defender, teeing up Pesenti to step into the shot that finished on the inside far post for his sixth of the year. Â
- The Warriors doubled the lead on Johan Feilscher's third goal in two games. From a deep throw in, Merrimack managed the ball on the periphery of the box, before a pass through three defenders skipped passed to a waiting Feilscher who rifled it in for a 2-0 lead.
- Sacred Heart earned its only goal of the afternoon in the 37th minute, cashing in one of outs four shots on goal in the first half to make it a one goal game at the half.
- Frantz Pierrot continued his offensive dominance in NEC play, with the Warriors handling the ball from the outside before a pass to the top of the box was managed and passed over to Pierrot. His red-hot boot ripped the shot against his body and low against the keeper to regain the two-goal lead.
- Late in the second half, Merrimack cashed in on a corner kick. The service from Stefano Pesenti fell in and pinballed around before being sent in by Trym Kyvaag for the sophomore's second goal of the year.
- Merrimack's defense was primed in the second half, allowing only one shot on target and five shot attempts in the second half. The Warriors were also sharp defending against 12 corner kicks for the Pioneers, with nine for Sacred Heart coming in the first half.

- Goalkeeper Bernardo Santos faced 13 shots and five shots on goal in the contest, turning four saves in his full-match start. Â
- Pierrot has now notched a point in seven straight games and in every conference game this season for the Warriors. The senior from Haiti has scored a staggering 20 points during the stretch.
- Merrimack has now tallied at least three goals in four contests this year, with a combined scoring margin of 19-7 in those contests.
