BOSTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's tennis team played a non-conference match on Friday afternoon against Boston University at the Terriers' Track and Tennis Center. The hosts emerged with a 7-0 win, dropping Merrimack's record to 2-4. BU improved to 4-1 on the year.

- The Terriers won the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead in the match. BU won at the first and third flights by 6-2 scores. Second doubles was a closer margin with junior Kristina Calistro and sophomore Mikaela Johnson Campana falling by a 6-3 disparity.
- At singles, the hosts won at all six flights. Junior Rosemary Campanella battled at No. 3 playing in a 6-3 set in her first game before winning four games in a 6-4 loss in the set. Johnson Campana also had a close opening set (6-4) before falling in two frames at fourth singles
- Calistro appeared at the top flight, sophomore Allyson Nerf at No. 2, freshman Nikala Tuffanelli at fifth singles and junior Hope Salts at No. 6 to comprise the singles lineup
