North Andover, Mass. ā The Merrimack College women's volleyball contested the Pioneers of Sacred Heart University, but came up short in Saturday night's match.

Set Breakdown:
- Merrimack went back and forth with the Pioneers for most of the set ā with kills earned by five different Warriors ā but fell to SHU due to multi-point runs by the visiting squad. Avery Brown and Brooke Leestma had two kills each.
- Set two was an identical score with a similar story line. Warriors came out strong with another back and forth beginning, but the Pioneers came out over Merrimack with the help of seven multi-point possessions, including a late five-point run. Meagan Hladick led the Warriors with four kills, and Avery Brown again had two.
- The Warriors fought back, this time earning four multi-point possessions of their own, but the Pioneers matched their efforts with six of their own ā including another five-point run. In her second game back, Sophie Meyers had four kills in the final set which was supported by Kayla Zinser's three.
Notes and Notables:
- Meagan Hladick led the Warriors with six kills, and Sophie Meyers and Kayla Zinser both had five apiece.
- In a team effort, seven different Warriors earned kills, with five of them having four or more.
