NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack men's soccer team's offense exploded for five goals to take its second conference win against Howard on Thursday afternoon. The Warriors were kickstarted by the efforts of Frantz Pierrot, Stefano Pesenti and Johan Feilscher, who combined to lead the offense.

The Summary
  • The dynamic duo of Feilscher and Pierrot got to work early, with Feilscher driving up the wing for a cross into the box, where Pierrot fought off the defense for the 1-0 lead in the seventh minute.
  • Feilscher added his second assist of the day on another wing run, with a ball in the box connecting with Stefano Pesenti for the Warriors' second goal in the 26th minute.
  • Merrimack's offense punched for 14 opportunities and five shots on the goal in the first half, generating lethal opportunities from six corner kicks.
  • Feilscher and Pierrot continued their dynamic one-two punch for Pierrot's brace in the 54' and again for the hat trick in the 68' as the duo used Feilscher's speed up the side to gain space against a defender with a ball in for Pierrot to send home.
  • The Warriors capped off the offense on a goal by Stefano Pesenti for his brace and third goal in two games from Felice Genuario.

  • Goalkeeper Alvaro Rodriguez earned the win, making two saves and facing six shots. He combined on the clean sheet with Bernardo Santos, who entered in goal for the final ten minutes, making a save.
  • Frantz Pierrot's hat trick is his second multi-goal game since joining the Warriors in 2020, with his first coming with a brace at St. Francis Brooklyn on March 3, 2021.
  • The final is the largest margin of victory in a Northeast Conference contest since Oct. 4, 2019 when Merrimack defeated Robert Morris 6-0 at home.
