SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Throwers from the Women's Track and Field team made their 2022 debut in the Bryant Indoor Throws Classic this past weekend. The Warriors had a month off from competition, but
Hannah Flores and
Makayla Champagne showed off the training they have put in during their winter break. Flores and Champagne were the only two competing for Merrimack, and both posted season bests – Flores in weight throw (her 3rd best all-time) and Champagne in both shot put and weight throw. Champagne's performance moved her to the 5th place spot in school history for both shot put and weight throw.
