Warriors Impress at Coaches Tribute Meet

KINGSTON, R.I. – Merrimack women's track and field competed in the Coaches Tribute Meet on Saturday, hosted by the University of Rhode Island. The Warriors had several athletes post personal bests, in addition to making their mark in Merrimack College's record book.

Results:
  • Ava Mahoney finished in 3rd place and earned a PR in the 3000m (10:37.71)
  • Kaleigh Lane moved to 5th-best in school history in the 500m with a time of 1:21.93. She took 5th in the event, as well.
  • Abigail Greeley took 8th in the Long Jump (5.31m/17'5.25")
  • Samantha LiPetri set a PR and finished 9th overall in the 1000m (3:06.02)
 
Up Next:
Up next, the Warriors will compete in the John Thomas Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University. The two-day event will take place Friday and Saturday, January 28th and 29th.
