NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. – The Blizzard of '22 delayed competition in the USM Husky Invitational, but the women's track and field team was ready to compete when their time came. Several athletes had performances that landed them in Merrimack record books, including
Makayla Champagne who did so in two different events.

Anna Gardner - 2nd in meet, 3rd in school history in pole vault (3.10m / 10'2")
Makayla Champagne - 6th in meet, improved her spot at 5th in school history in shot put (10.50m / 34'5.5")
Taylor Jax - 3rd in meet, 2nd school history in weight throw (13.11m / 43'0.25")
Makayla Champagne - 5th in meet, 3rd in school history in weight throw (12.20m / 40'0.5")
Bouchrouche, Collins, Lane Faivre – 1
st in meet in 4x400m relay (4:14.43)

Up next, qualifying athletes will compete in the two-day New England Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. Competition is set to take place Friday and Saturday, February 4
th and 5
th.
