  • Merrimack jumped on the board early in the second period, after settling the puck down behind the goal line, with Katie Kaufman sending the puck up to Madison Oelkers at the face-off circle. Oelkers, using a pair of defenders as a screen, fired a shot on goal that dropped uncaptured in the crease. Kaufman charged on goal to capture the loose puck to make it a one goal game.
