Rapid Recap

Ella Cormier set the tone early in the game recording two early chances. Molly Murnane nearly put the Warriors on the board first at the 11 minute mark but her shot went into the side netting. Murnane would capture the games opening goal at 18:38 with the assist going to Rebecca Harty.

Merrimack doubled the advantage only three minutes later when Murnane scored her second of the game at 21:18 of the half.

Murnane's first attempt for a hat trick was stopped on a one on one chance late in the half but was turned away. The Warriors were able to limit Wagner's opportunities with the ball all half and rolled into the break up 2-0.

Molly Murnane's quest for the hat trick continued early in the half, her strike three minutes into the final 45 was turned just over the bar. Hallie Shiers' long range attempt at 56 minutes was just over the crossbar.

Daniela Almeida's two shot attempts nearly resulted in the Warriors third goal but both were just wide. Ella Cormier's effort on the resulting possession was also just over the net.

Rebecca Harty had two great chances, one was turned away off a great pass from Murnane, the second tick just off the bar and out of play.

The Warriors push for a third goal seemed like it might not come, but with only 11 seconds left in the game, Hallie Shiers' pass found Murnane in one on one with a goalkeeper and she did not miss bagging the hat trick and finishing off Merrimack's 3-0 victory on the final touch of the game.
