The Merrimack Warriors women's hockey team was not able to complete the weekend sweep falling to the Boston University Terriers on Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-2.

Merrimack picked up right where they left off the previous night, as after an early penalty kill, Allison Reeb scored on her own rebound to put the Warriors on the board first at 6:16 of the first period.
The Terriers would tie the game 90 seconds later.
Boston University was able to take the lead early in the second period with the goal coming at 2:38. They would then stretch the advantage at 7:17 of the period as well.
Teghan Inglis would cut the lead back to one on the powerplay with just over a minute to go in the second, when Alexa Pongo's net drive following a Katie Kaufman pass ended up with the puck on Inglis stick for the goal.
The Warriors fought hard in the third, looking for a tying goal, but it wasn't meant to be as Boston University re doubled the lead at 17:00 and added the empty netter with 13 seconds left to finish the game.Â
