Teghan Inglis would cut the lead back to one on the powerplay with just over a minute to go in the second, when Alexa Pongo's net drive following a Katie Kaufman pass ended up with the puck on Inglis stick for the goal.

The Warriors fought hard in the third, looking for a tying goal, but it wasn't meant to be as Boston University re doubled the lead at 17:00 and added the empty netter with 13 seconds left to finish the game.
