NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College women's basketball team lost its second of three straight home games, 75-47 to Northeastern University on Wednesday night.
Marissa Hamilton was once again the leading scorer for the Warriors with 17 points.
Mackenzie Bray had 10 points and two assists.

- Hamilton knocked down a jumper to get the scoring going for the Warriors. Northeastern matched with a jumper of their own. After the Huskies went on a 12-point run, Bray broke the lead with a three-pointer. The Huskies would continue to score, bringing them to a ten point lead to end the first quarter. Going into the second quarter, Northeastern would continue to increase the lead they had. Hamilton and Bray had a couple of threes with Alana Fursman and Jayme DeCesare scoring their first points of the game. The Huskies would take the lead throughout the quarter with the Warriors trailing by 15 at the end of the first half.
- Going into the second half, the Huskies continued on their lead with the Warriors scoring a few points including a step back jumper from Lydia Melashenko. Hamilton added a couple of more points with a few layups for the Warriors to get them back into the game. During the final seconds of the game, forward Sidni Wise-Wright had a nice steal

The Warriors get back to action on Saturday when they travel to California to play against USC. Game time is set for 10 p.m.
