The Merrimack Warriors Women's Ice Hockey rode two two goal periods on route to a victory and weekend split with the Dartmouth Big Green, as they victorious by a score 4-3 in Hanover on Saturday.
Merrimack got off to the perfect start as it was
Alexa Pongo scoring her fourth in four games to put the warriors ahead early.
Playing four on four late in the first the Warriors would strike again as
Emily Oosterveld would bank the puck off a Dartmouth defender to double the lead.
Dartmouth would tie the game in the second period when scored twice in 58 seconds.
In the third, it would the Warriors to score two fast goals,
Emily Oosterveld scored at 4:04 of the period, and
Allison Reeb scored 29 seconds later to reestablish the two goal lead with around 15 minutes to play in the period.
Dartmouth would add another goal with 17 seconds remaining but the Warriors would hold out and get the win.

Emma Gorski made 33 saves in her fourth win of the season.
