The Merrimack men's hockey team needed overtime, but
Ben Brar came through for his second overtime goal of the season, as the Warriors defeated the Dartmouth Big Green by a score of 3-2 to put them in the Ledyard Bank Classic final against Providence.

Dartmouth grabbed the lead exactly at the five minute mark as a long shot attempt skidded past
Zachary Borgiel.
The Warriors however wouldn't be down for long as
Nikita Borodayenko scored his first goal as a Warrior on a two on one chance with
Jordan Seyfert.
The Warriors would then follow that goal up with another just 45 seconds later as Ottoville Leppanen would score his 11
th career point against Big Green.
Dartmouth would tie the game up with under three minutes to in the first.
Neither team would score in the next 40 minutes, despite both teams putting the puck in the net, both goals were called off because the net was off it's moorings.
In overtime, both teams would trade chances, but it would be
Alex Jefferies with the cross ice pass to
Ben Brar who one timed the shot home to beat the Big Green.
