ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College baseball team beat Marist College in a non-conference battle on Tuesday afternoon. The Warriors were led by
Thomas Crowley who went three-for-four and had three RBI's.
Alex Haba and
Michael Golankiewicz also had multiple hits in the game for Merrimack.
Damon Fuller pitched three innings and allowed just one run on one hit on his way to his first victory in a Warrior uniform.

- Haba led off the bottom half of the first with a double to center. Two batters later Golankiewicz singled home Haba to give Merrimack an early lead. The Red Foxes added a run in the top of the third after a bases loaded walk. Braydon Dolbashian doubled in the bottom of the fourth. After a Marist pitching change, Stephen Santarpia bunted Dolbashian over to third. A wild pitch scored the junior infielder from third. Crowley singled later in the inning, but could not cross home plate.
- Golankiewicz tripled in the bottom of the fifth. Jake Macchi singled down the line to score he Warrior left fielder, giving them a two-run advantage. Marist added another run to pull within one in the top of the sixth. Santarpia drew a free pass to lead of the bottom of the sixth, he then advanced to second on a wild pitch. Crowley then doubled home Santarpia, increasing the lead back to two. Crowley walked in the bottom of the eighth with one out. Scott Elliott then singled. Haba doubled, scoring Crowley. Anthony Gentile singled, scoring Elliott. Macchi reached on an error, scoring another run for Merrimack. The Warriors found themselves up five. Santarpia singled home a run. Crowley then launched a two RBI double making the lead nine runs.

- Brayden Howrigan, Bryant Skurbe and Tyghe Healy combined for five innings of shutout baseball.
- Golankiewicz continues to roll at the plate. He now has at least one hit in 12 games this season, including four with two or more.

The Warriors get back to action tomorrow night when they head to Boston College to take on the Eagles. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
