ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College baseball team came up short in its matchup against Boston College on Wednesday night.
Alex Haba had two hits for the Warriors in the defeat.
Turner Jamieson earned his first RBI of the season.
Anthony Gentile and
Kurtis Stadnicki also earned runs batted in during the loss.

- Haba doubled to lead off the game in the top of the first. Michael Golankiewicz then drew a one out walk, to put runner on first and second. The inning ended with neither making it across home plate. The Eagles added four runs in the bottom of the first to take an early lead. Boston College added four more in the bottom of the second after a grand slam. One more run was put on the board in the third, making the lead nine. In the bottom of the fifth the Eagles added six runs. Haba had a two out single in the bottom of the sixth, but did not leave first base. Andrew Selima singled to center field to start a ninth inning comeback for the Warriors. Jamieson then laced a singled up the middle to add a run for Merrimack. Gentile then hit into a fielder's choice and scored another run. The Warriors would score two more run in the inning off a wild pitch and another fielder's choice off the bat of Stadnicki.

- After the loss today, the Eagles now take the lead in the all-time series which was previously tied at one.
- Haba continues to be on a tear offensively. The junior infielder is batting .347 and has a hit in all but three games this season. He also has eight games with multiple hits.
- Jamieson earned the first hit and RBI of his Warrior career in the loss.
