EMMITSBURG, M.D. – The women's lacrosse team traveled to the campus of Mount St. Mary's, for an in-conference matchup against the Mountaineers. The home team was able to snap the Warriors recent string of wins, despite an even-matched first half of action.
Meghan Dzialo was once again her team's leading scorer, with another hat trick to add to her resume.

How it happened:

st quarter:
- The lone goal of the quarter was collected by Natalie Calkins, assisted by Taylor Darrell. The goal came within the first minute of play.
- Score at end of 1sT: 1-0 Merrimack
2
nd quarter:
- Mount St. Mary's would sneak one in, at just over one minute into the quarter.
- Not long after, Meghan Dzialo would score on a free position, which she earned from a Mountaineers foul.
- The home team would score four more times in the quarter, to open up a lead against the Warriors.
- With just over two minutes left in the half, Taylor Darrell makes a drive towards the net, crosses to Catherine Mahanna, who then finds Dzialo in the middle for a goal.
Score at end of 2nd: 5-3 Mount St. Mary's

rd quarter:
- Dzialo earned some style points, when a shot on the run went in for a goal, as she fell into a backwards roll
- About midway through the quarter, Natalie Calkins had a shot that found the back of the net, but the goal was called back, as Calkins was given a yellow card for her stick hitting a Mount St. Mary's player in the motion of her shot. Given this man-up advantage, the Mountaineers were able to score again, to give them a four-goal lead over the Warriors.
- With less than four minutes remaining, Sophie Scearbo was able to help close the gap with a free position goal.
- The Mountaineers would have another man-up advantage with less than a minute left, to give them one more goal before the end of the quarter.
- Score at end of 3rd: 10-5 Mount St. Mary's
4
th quarter:
- Action would continue scoreless through the first five minutes of the quarter, but the home team would add another to their total not much later.
- Mount St. Mary's would add two more to their game total and leave the Warriors without a goal the rest of the way.
Final Score: 13-5 Mount St. Mary's
Up next:
The Warriors next game will be played back home at Duane Stadium against Boston University. The Warriors vs Terriers matchup is set to begin at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6.
