ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College baseball team lost its second game in a row to Long Island University, 6-2. Christian Gemelli stayed hot, earning two hits and an RBI. Ben Nelson got the other RBI for the Warriors. Alex Haba had two hits in the defeat. Warriors starter Jack Collins threw two scoreless innings and struck out three batters in the process.

- Collins started off the first by striking out two batters. In the top of the second, two batters got on, but Collins struck out the last batter of the inning for his third of the afternoon. Jake Macchi singled with one out in the bottom half of the second. Gemelli then doubled advancing Macchi to third. Nelson reached on an error, scoring the runner from third and giving the Warriors and early lead. The Sharks got one back in the top of the third, tying the game. Haha and Scott Elliott had back-to-back singles, but neither could get across home plate. Long Island added two runs on three hits in the top of the fourth. Gemelli singled with two outs in the fourth, but was left on base.
- The Sharks added two runs to their lead in the fifth to go up four. In the top of the sixth Tyghe Healy retired the side in order. Braydon Dolbashian led off the bottom of the sixth with a single. He then took second and third on wild pitches. Gemelli then reached base on an error to score the runner from third. Healy got Long Island in order for the second time in a row in the seventh. The Sharks scored a run in the top of the eighth to make it 6-2 which would end up being the final score of the game. The Warriors loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth, but could not get anyone across home plate.

- Haba's hit streak extends to 16 games, which is the highest on the team and is the most games in a row on the season.
- Merrimack outhit Long Island, 8-6 in the loss.
