EMMITSBURG, M.D. – The women's track and field team competed in the Northeast Conference Championships, in two days of competition hosted by Mount St. Mary's University. The Warriors had several notable performances that were both personal bests as well as program bests.
The Basics:
Event: 2022 Outdoor Northeast Conference Championships

Results:
- Alana Johnson won javelin, throwing an ECAC record 41.57m. Her efforts were recognized by the conference, as she was awarded Most Outstanding Field Performer (Throws) during Championship Weekend. Skylar DiMartino took 5th in the event, throwing 38.89m.
- Skyler Bomba took 2nd place in pole vault, clearing 3.50m, and 5th in triple jump with a mark of 11.23m. Anna Gardner also competed in pole vault, clearing 3.20m to earn 7th place.
- Hannah Flores took 3rd in discus, throwing 38.08m.
- Ava Mahoney finished 4th overall in the 1500m, crossing at 4:41.00, and 6th in the 5000m, at a time of 18:17.22.
- Hannah Brisson and Sarah Tierney earned the 6th and 7th place spots in the 10,000m, finishing at 39:37.69 and 39:40.75 respectively.
- Kathryn Sullivan took 4th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.74.
- Emma Faivre and Carla Bouchrouch took 8th and 9th in 400m hurdles, finishing at 1:08.83 and 1:09.03 respectively.
- Sophia Beland and Madison Cote came in at 8th and 10th in the Steeplechase, at 12:33.49 (Beland) and 12:47.93 (Cote).
- Hayley Douglea (1.64m) and Skyler Bomba (1.54m) took 4th and 6th in high jump. Douglea's clearing of 1.64m was a personal best. Bomba also found 9th place in long jump, with a mark of 4.91m.

Next on the schedule for the Warriors is the New England Championships, hosted by Bryant University. Events are set to take place on the weekend of May 13-14.
