ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College baseball team hit four home runs in the victory over Fairleigh Dickinson University on Saturday afternoon. Michael Golankiewicz did not go yard, but he did lead the team in hits with three on the afternoon. He also added two RBI's to the teams total. Scott Elliott homered in the first inning to set the tone for the Warriors on the afternoon. Christian Gemelli also went yard in first to add to Merrimack's early lead. Andrew Selima and Alex Haba were the other two that hit one over the fence. Tyghe Healy earned his second victory of the season after going five strong and allowed just one run, while striking out five.

- The Warriors exploded offensively in the first inning, scored four runs. Eliott hit a two run home run. Gemelli then hit a solo shot two batters later. Braydon Dolbashian singled and stole second to put a runner in scoring position. Kurtis Stadnicki then singled, scoring the runner from second, putting Merrimack up four. Healy got out of back-to-back two runner on jams in second and third inning to keep the advantage at four.
- Haba doubled to lead off the fifth inning. Elliott then followed up with a single that scored Haba from second. Elliott stole second. Gemelli doubled to center, adding another run for Merrimack. The Knights added a run in the sixth to cut it to five. Selima led off the bottom half of the sixth and went yard for the sixth time this season. In the seventh, Golankiewicz singled to center with one down in the inning. Stadnicki tripled home the Golankiewicz making the Merrimack lead seven. In the bottom half of the eighth the Warrior offense continued. Haba led off with a solo home run, which was his second of the series. Jake Macchi singled two batters later. Gemelli walked, putting two runners on. Dolbashian singled to load up the bases. Golankiewicz singled to left, scoring two runners and putting Merrimack up by nine runs. Fairleigh Dickinson added two in the ninth, but that wasn't enough to catch the Warriors on Saturday afternoon.

- LT Pare was the only other arm to throw for the Warriors this afternoon. He went four strong allowing just two runs on three hits.
