STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Merrimack College men's soccer team held Stony Brook University scoreless in a 3-0 victory on Tuesday night.
Juri Schlingmann had two of the Warriors three goals.
Johan Feilscher had the other, which was his third in two games. Merrimack goalkeeper
Alvaro Rodriguez had his second clean sheet in a row in the victory.

- The Warriors came out firing in the first half launching two shots on goal in the first three minutes, the first by Schlingmann and the next by Min Jun Jang. Schlingmann scored the first goal of the game in the 26th minute. The goal was assisted by Jang. Merrimack held the Sea Wolves without a shot on goal for the entire first 45 minutes.
- Schlingmann and Liam Ziegler both had shots on goal early in the second half, both were saved by the Stony Brook goalkeeper. Schlingmann scored his second goal of the game in the 60th minute. This time Johan Feilscher and Stefano Pesenti had the assists. In the 83rd minute Feilscher got a goal of his own, which was assisted by Schlingmann, putting Merrimack up three and giving them the win.

Merrimack heads back to work at home on Saturday when Siena College comes to town. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
