BETHLEHAM, PA. – The Merrimack College field hockey was downed by Lehigh University on Saturday afternoon, 3-1.
Julie Wester had the lone goal for the Warriors in the loss. Goalkeeper
Paige Degeorge had 10 saves on the afternoon.

- The Mountain Hawks stuck first three minutes into the first quarter of play, going up one. Lehigh scored again two minutes into the second quarter, taking a two-goal lead. On the Warriors first shot on goal, Wester found the back of the net for her first goal of the season. Ann-Sophie Hogenboom had the assist, her third of the year. At the end of the second quarter the Mountain Hawks scored their third goal of the game, putting the lead back two goals.
- Abby Allen opened the second half with a shot that was saved by the Lehigh goalkeeper. Allen had another shot in the fourth, that was also saved by the Mountain Hawk defender.
