Women’s Soccer Drop NEC Matchup at Sacred Heart

Fairfield, Connecticut- The Merrimack College women's soccer team lost their matchup with Sacred Heart University this afternoon.

• About 18 minutes into the first half, Sacred Heart scored the first goal of the game. Goalkeeper Lily Morgan made a few saves to prevent another goal from happening.
• Five minutes into the second half, Sacred Heart scored another goal and proceeded to add at least two more towards the end of the game.

Top Performers // Notes

• Ella Cormier, Erin Tyldesley, Rebecca Harty, and Cassie Avenick were the only players to have had a shot on goal for the Warriors.
• Morgan had eight saves throughout the game.
