The Merrimack men's hockey team was defeated by the Northeastern Huskies by a score of 5-1 on Friday night at J.Thom Lawler Rink.

The Warriors fell behind early as the Huskies scored twice in the first eight minutes and despite three powerplays in the first period, the Warriors were behind 2-0 at the break.

Just past the halfway point of the game,
Filip Forsmark would put the Warriors on the board with his fourth goal of the season.

Northeastern would get the goal back just over three minutes later.

Northeastern scored two more times in the third period to close the scoring out for the game.
