North Andover, M.A. – The Merrimack Women's Soccer team made it five games unbeaten and extended their winning streak to four as they defeated the Sacred Heart Pioneers by a score of 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Martone-Mejail Field.

The Warriors did not wait around to score the eventual game winning goal as
Lily Morgan sent it long onto the foot of
Molly Murnane who made no mistake, scoring at the three minute mark of the contest.
Lily Morgan would make five saves in the first half as the Warriors carried the lead into the half.
In the second, the Warriors defense continued their great play, and
Lily Morgan made four more saves to preserve the win for Merrimack.
Notes and Figures
Lily Morgan made nine saves, collected back to back clean sheets and notched her third career assist in the win.
Molly Murnane's goal was the fourth of the season for her.
