Field Hockey Falls to Saint Francis Friday

NORTH ANDOVER, MASS.– The Merrimack College field hockey team lost to Saint Francis (PA) on Friday after 4-1.

How It Happened
A little over eight minutes into the game the Red Flash found the back of the net to take an early lead. Later on in the second quarter, Saint Francis would score again to go up by two. Autumn Bartush had the first shot of the game for the Warriors in the third quarter, it was saved by the Red Flash goalkeeper. Saint Francis would score two more goal in the fourth period to go up by four. Chloe Agopian would break through and score for Merrimack in the 53rd minute. It would be the only Warrior goal of the game.

Katelyn Bennett and Julie Wester also had shot for Merrimack in the loss.
