SOMERSET, NJ – Merrimack College Women's Volleyball junior middle blocker,
Julz Carlat was named NEC Player of The Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Carlat was nothing short of spectacular during a week full of wins. In the first contest against St. Francis, she led the Warriors to a win behind a career high 20 kills. She added 5 digs as well en route to a season sweep of the Red Flash. She would do it once again with a 10 kill performance against Le Moyne where the Warriors completed the sweep of the Dolphins as well. Carlat also notched 5 aces and 3 digs in that match.
Merrimack will get back to action on Wednesday the 25th with a non conference battle against former NEC opponent Bryant.
