Rapid Recap
Merrimack was looking to leave New Jersey with at least one win and we're striving to claim it on Sunday over Rider. The first quarter started with one of the Warriors stars being just that. Jayme DeCesare scored the first nine points for Merrimack on three three pointers. They would leave the first frame with a 16-11 lead. The second quarter was lull on the offensive side as Merrimack scored just 6 points and went into the half trailing 29-22.

Merrimack was looking to creep back into the contest in the third quarter but Rider extended their lead going up as much as 14 and ending the third up 45-34. The Warriors we're able to strike first in the 4th with a Diamond Christian layup but the Broncs maintained the lead. They pushed the lead to 15 but the Warriors had a mini 7-2 run to cut the lead to 10. However, the Warriors were unable to do much of anything else as they would go on to lose 61-47. Merrimack is still looking for that lucrative first win which they'll have another opportunity this Thursday.
