SOMERSET, N.J. – Merrimack quarterback
Malakai Anthony was named NEC Offensive Player of The Week as announced by the league office on Monday.
The junior from Washington D.C. completed 11 of 15 passes for 190 yards, averaging 17.3 yards per completion, as well as throwing for three touchdowns, as well as rushing for 37 yards on seven attempts helping lead the Warriors to a 35-24 win over Central Connecticut this past Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors will take on Duquesne University on Saturday afternoon with the NEC Championship on for grabs. Kickoff is set for noon.
