NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. — Merrimack College Women's Lacrosse Sophomore midfielder
Samantha Spieler was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Co-Player of the Week, as announced Monday after she continued her excellent play in the Warriors 18-4 victory over Howard University on Sunday afternoon where she had five goals.
The Katonah, N.Y. native scored five goals in the Merrimack win on Sunday. The sophomore midfielder also was tied with a team leading three assists to go along with one ground ball in the victory.
Spieler currently ranks fifth on the team in goals with eight goals. The sophomore also ranks fifth on the team in total points with 11.
Merrimack get back in action at home on March 22
nd to host Harvard University in the NOSOLO game. Game time is set for 5 PM.
