North Andover, MA-Â The Merrimack Softball team won their fourth straight game defeating the Providence College Friars on Tuesday afternoon on a warm and windy day at Martone-Mejail Field.

 Providence took the lead in the first inning as they scored the game's first run but the Warriors stormed back asÂ

Hannah Scarano on an RBI double. Hubbard would score herself on a throwing error and one batter later the Warriors broke the game open asÂ
Madison Cerpa homered to right field, extending the lead to five runs.Â
In the third inning, starting pitcherÂ
Bry Michitson helped the cause with an RBI single. The Warriors would add one more run asÂ
Madison Cerpa scored on a wild pitch in the fourth inning. The Friars added a consolation run in the seventh, but Michitson closed the game out from there finishing the victory.

The Warriors will take on the College of the Holy Cross Crusaders tomorrow in a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 3 and 5 PM.
