SALISBURY, MD – The Merrimack College baseball team scored a season-high 20 runs on Saturday afternoon, beating Maryland Eastern Shore by 18 runs.

Alex Haba opened the game with a solo home run in the top of the first. Three innings later the Hawks tied the game at one. In the fifth,
Scott Elliott single to right, scoring two runners. In the sixth,
Ben Nelson singled to left, scoring a runner from third.
Braydon Dolbashian the launched a single to left, scoring another run for the Warriors. Merrimack was now up four. The offensive onslaught in the sixth continued with a single from
Samuel Sherman that scored a run. Elliott then came up again and launched a three-run home run to give the Warriors a eight run advantage.
Frankie Ferrentino reached on an error, scoring a runner from third. In the seventh, Dolbashian scored on a wild pitch. Ferrentino then doubled to center, scoring two runs.
Christian Gemelli followed up with a double of his own to also score two runs. Merrimack was now up by 15 runs. Nelson singled home a run. In the eighth
Logan Castellano hit a sac fly to center, scoring Elliott from third.
Hayden Bond launched a two-run home run in the top of the ninth.

Healy threw six innings, allowing seven hits and just one earned run while striking out six.
The Warriors also had a season-high 20 hits in the victory.
