North Andover, MA-- The Merrimack College women's lacrosse were defeated in their final game of the 2023 campaign by the Sacred Heart Pioneers by a score of 11-8.

How It Happened
In the first quarter, the Warriors got early goals from
Sophie Scearbo and
Natalie Calkins to put the Warriors up early. After the Pioneers scored three straight times the Warriors had the game tied at four with tallies from
Georgia Parker and Scearbo's second of the game to leave the game tied at four through quarter one.

In the second quarter, Gergia Parker had the lone goal for the Warriors to leave them down two goals at the halftime break.

In the third quarter,
Olivia Valdes scored at the halfway point to cut the lead back to one, the Pionners would score two more times before
Sophie Scearbo completed her hat trick in the final two minutes of the third.

In the fourth quarter, Scearbo picked up her fourth of the game but that would be all as the game came to a close.
