NORTH ANDOVER, MASS – The Northeast Conference announced on Monday afternoon that three Merrimack College programs had won the Team GPA award for their respective sports. Women's Basketball (3.466), Women's Bowling (3.86), and Women's Soccer (3.68) were the first Warriors teams to win the award.
The institution came in fourth overall with a compete cumulative grade point average of 3.22.
All three teams also had successful athletic seasons. The Merrimack College women's basketball and women's soccer teams made appearances in the NEC semifinals for their respective sports. The women's bowling team, in its first year as a program cracked the top 25 and beat a number of nationally ranked teams last season.
