Women's Soccer Captures Win Over Hartford

West Hartford, CT.-   The Merrimack College Warriors women's soccer team picked up a 2-1 victory over the Hartford Hawks on Wednesday night, in part to Adrianna Marinello's fantastic goal.

• The Warriors would strike first as Ella Cormier would take advantage of the chaos in the six yard box and hammer the ball home on a volley to put Merrimack in front.
• The Hawks would tie the game up just over a minute later.
• Merrimack would get the winning goal with just over 20 minutes to play as Adrianna Marinello's long range effort went off the bar and in to put the Warriors in front for good.

Notes and Numbers:
 

• Lily Morgan made four saves in her return to the lineup.
• Ella Cormier's goal was her third of the season.
• Adrianna Marinello's goal was the first one of her collegiate career.
