How It Happened
Vermont kicked off the scoring early in the game with a goal at the 2:43 mark. They would add another at 10:26 before the scoring went dormant on both sides for quite some time.

A scoreless 2nd and 3rd period led to the Warriors trailing by just 2 goals heading into the final period of play. Brooke Bolduc continued to be stellar between the pipes as she made save after save to help keep the Catamounts at bay. However, a score at the 49:29 mark increased Vermont's lead before adding to it just moments later with the fourth and final goal of the game at the 56:53 mark to put the contest away and send Vermont home with a 4-0 win.
