Score: Merrimack 3, Le Moyne 1
Records: Merrimack (3-10, 2-0), Le Moyne (0-11, 0-2)

How It Happened
Another day, another NEC home victory for this Warrior squad. A first set 7 point run to trump the first score of the game from the Dolphins put Merrimack ahead 7-1 as they never looked back. They took a first set win, 25-18 with strong play from Ella Gizmunt and Hannah Webber

The second set was the exact opposite. Le Moyne was able to have a 7-0 run of their own that Merrimack had facilitated in the first set, as they jumped out to a 9-4 lead. Midway through the set the Dolphins scored 6 of 8 points to take charge and ultimately win the second by a score of 25-18, tying the match up at 1.

The third set was by far the most competitive. It started with Merrimack jumping out to a lead and maintaining and growing it midway through the set. MC was up as much as 7 at 14-7 before a furious six to nothing run that saw a handful of Warrior errors. From that point forward the two teams could not pull away from one another as it was tied up at 26. A Gizmunt kill and an attack error from Le Moyne put the Warriors up 2 sets to 1 with a 28-26 win.

The fourth set was the most dominant of the match for the Warriors. Merrimack had multiple bursts and runs that put them up big as they led by nine at 23-14 before closing the set out with a Webber kill and an Ella Gizmunt ace to end the game.
